1. Little financial investment required
To allow for even the lowest income people to participate in your business opportunity, you must have a low enough price point for access to whatever immediate information and instruction that your company requires. To make a good income with an online business opportunity, it’s likely that one would have to invest at least a few dollars. But if you put that price tag too high, you will be excluding those of lower income brackets. If a person already has at least a moderate amount to invest, it’s considerably easier to invest that and to make more from it. All a person would need to have is a computer, and those are even available at your local library free of charge!
2. Your website is vital
Having your own website with free access is a very important part to market your network marketing business. The website itself is a great form of free advertisement, too! Paid access websites have a benefit as well, but I will discuss the topic of paid websites later.
3. Send your downline a sense of self-worth and success
The happiness of your downline is a very important part of the success of your network marketing business. To ensure their happiness, you must send them letters of accomplishment and challenge. Make them even happier when they get their first sale, or when they reach one of their own goals. And, to help them reach some of their own goals, send them some good leads, and some of the knowledge and tools you have used to help you reach your own personal goals. Make your downline feel good about themselves, and they will, in turn, make you feel good by providing you with more income!
4. Don’t forget your own critical evidence
Sure, you can claim your associates can make over $250,000 in a month, but unless you can prove it, your claim is treated just the same as those other claims you see online that are obviously fraudulent. Of course, if your business opportunity really CAN make someone that $250,000, you really should promote it. And submit evidence that it is indeed possible! Use specific success stories to show that others have done what you claim. And tell how much time you put into it yourself, as well as whatever pitfalls you may have encountered. You see, the pitfalls are normal. No reasonably person should expect things to run perfectly the very first time!
5. Be a real person
Successful businesspeople are real people. By that, I mean that they include part of themselves in all of their correspondence. The better you are at promoting yourself, and proving to prospects that you are indeed a real person and not a computerized robot, the better your impression would be. Even though you can’t physically congratulate those who join or buy, you can still show your human side by sending emails or normal postal mail, or giving them a telephone call. Also, through these correspondences, you will be able to get to know each and every one of them a little bit better. And that will help your business in the future!
6. Good experiences with you and your company
New people in your business opportunity will probably invest more time than money, so you need to make their time as profitable and positive as possible. As with any customer, you have to make their experiences positive as well. Of course, if either the customer or the associate has a bad experience, with either you or your company, they will probably not stay with you for much longer. And then you will lose business, lose money, and lose more prospects, because you know they will tell others!
7. Kick start, crank start, or jump start your new associates
Most internet marketers won’t have immediate dramatic results. (Of course, there are always exceptions.) For your network marketing business to succeed, you do have to give it enough time, and give yourself enough education in the field of your business and in business itself. To kick start your downline’s businesses, you must remember to support them the best you can, and even give them a few leads to start off with. After all, the sooner they start earning money, the sooner you do too!
8. Simple even for those who know only a little computer talk
Most home businesses rely on computer work, so it helps to have at least basic computer knowledge. So, for more advanced marketing and networking techniques, you will likely have to explain in detail just how to do things the right way.
9. Part-time or full-time compatible
Your business opportunity has to be able to be profitably worked both full-time and part-time to allow as much flexibility and opportunity for everyone to succeed in making some money with your business!
10. Keep it simple enough
Your business opportunity can’t be complicated and require a college degree to understand it. Streamline it, and describe what needs description in layman’s terms. Make sure your instructions are easy to follow!
