I’ll bet you were just thinking “Why would anyone write an article to talk about funnels for heaven’s sake? “, weren’t you? Honestly, I can’t even answer that myself so let’s talk about the funnel that is the subject of this article.
I am referring to, of course, a Marketing Funnel. A what? A Marketing Funnel. It is more of an action verb than a thing that you can hold in your hand. Though these days they do come in many different configurations like those in your Kitchen, they serve an altogether different purpose in the world of Marketing online.
A Marketing funnel’s purpose is to bring a large amount of people who are interested in a specific topic to a specific landing page, form, or squeeze page, and sends them through a process of either qualification or elimination. By the time the person has gone through the whole system, they are a buyer of whatever product the Marketer wants them to purchase.

In other words, that person is someone who is dead serious about obtaining the product or service being offered and will not waste the marketers time or resources. This end result is the marketer’s absolute dream because these are the people that generate the marketer’s income.
