1) There is a lot of information on the internet, which makes people cautious about what they are being informed about, and wondering if they are going to get scammed by these “Gurus” who many times make a lot of their money that is different than what they are telling you to do.
This can create an atmosphere of fear and anxiety for those who are really looking for some honest answers on how to do this whole MLM thing.
For example, they’ll tell you to use a lead generation system that is primed to fail before you even start. One such lead system is the “friends and family” marketing. How many of you have friends and family that have enough money to build your business successfully? Most people hate to be sold, and I can bet your “friends and family” will too.
If this is their only advice on building your MLM, Run! Run fast. Because they really can’t do much more for you.
Now that is not to say that you cant approach your friends and family, but just don’t rely on them for the Big Win.
2) The other secret problem I have with many gurus is that even if they do know a lot of valuable things, their marketing techniques are way to complicated for the average MLM’er. They make it seem more complicated than it really is. They just have had a lot more practice in using the advanced marketing techniques.
Some of these advanced techniques are things these gurus use such as HTML, web site designing, hosting, and more. These hurdles take a lot of time to learn and can hold a lot of people back from even getting involved in the MLM game. A lot of people want to make money fast and don’t have the time to learn all of the technical stuff.
Its for this reason that I have provided a simple procedure for starting, operating and optimizing an affiliate MLM based business, and to do this without making serous mistakes along the way. And to do it fast.
