People spend enormous amount of money ($12,000 – $25,000) on coaching programs simply because they would like to learn the fastest way. Yes, they don’t want to do time-consuming researches, doing experiments, and following step-by-step guides that are not 100% effective. You can help them out by making use of these advanced coaching methods on each of your programs:

1. Get it right the first time. Start your first coaching session by having an in-depth understanding about the struggles of your clients. Let them do the talking and encourage them to go on details. Don’t forget to jot down notes and highlight those elements or subtle cues that can help you easily understand where your clients are coming from. Then, don’t be shy to ask questions once in a while to get clearer picture but spend most of time listening actively to your clients. You will need to do this so you will have a solid idea on what you can offer to these people to easily help them out. Before you offer solutions or recommendations, I suggest that you restate what they have said and paraphrase it just to make sure that you got it right.

2. Explain the solutions. You can’t just tell your clients “here’s what you can do” without giving them explanation. Although they might be able to solve their problems, they will really not have a clear understanding as to how this solution can work for their advantage. Let me give you an example; if your client is asking how to increase the number of his inbound links, you can’t just tell him that he could go with article marketing as this will surely confuse your client especially if he doesn’t have any prior knowledge about article marketing. You will need to explain how article marketing works, how he can get inbound links through it, and how these links can help him realize his ultimate goal which is probably secure a better page ranking online.

3. Offer more. If you want to truly impress your clients and if you want them to recommend your programs to other people, I suggest that you give them more than what they have paid for. If possible, offer them with more coaching time (when and as needed), offer them with freebies that can help improve their learning experience, and share with them your own techniques.
